I'm Jewish and I'm sick and tired of people always forgetting about it and asking me if I'm joking when I tell them that I'm jewish. I meant to say almost always over looked, but it wouldn't fit.

JESUS WAS A JEW, DIED A JEW, HIS MOM WAS A JEW, AND SHE DIED A JEW ALSO!

where on earth do you live?! it sounds like you're in an area in which there are few people and access to any type of media.

Mary, while yes was born Jewish. she accepted Christ as Her Saviour so, while she would always ethnically be a Jew, religiously She was a Christian.

If you're talking about things like Christmas and Easter versus other Jewish holidays -- it's a majority rules type process. I actually believe that some Jewish holidays are getting more press and rightly so - my favorite - Rosh Hashana (spx).

You may want to move to an area that is a little larger, you should hopefully find more people who appreciate diversity.

The time is comming, that time is now. Before the Universe you must take a bow. The Lord sits upon the Egg of Power, gazing below from the Watchtower, waiting for the Hatching hatch hour-by-hour, to unleash upon the Earth a firey shower. Breathing life with fire, high upon the throne, the Universe is lone, the one Empire. It will posses one man if the need be dire. He shall scorch the earth with flames and gasses. Death and suffering let be by the masses, let flow through the land like cold molasses. Hope is for those who abandon what's now. Listen to me and I'll show you how. There is no god and there is no devil. The Dragon is on a higher level. Follow him now and you will be saved, for the road to eternity will be paved.

Yeap...Totally agree with you dude...Jesus is so over-rated. Heck, he didn't even intend to write a Bible. It was compiled 200 + years after His passing.

Now the Bible is like the last known artifact and symbol of truth to Christians.

Now, it would really be pointless to argue to Christians as its THEIR Bible. For example, if I wrote a book and said "cats are actually gods on earth". You can't really argue with me coz I am quoting from my book and my book says so, even if its not real.

My point is, be proud of your culture/religion/belief, for we all come from the same One True God. Not the gods of christianity, jezuz, jesus, or some other pre-packaged propaganda god. But in essence the purest of most pure God.

And yeah Jesus was a Jew ;)
Its all called "marketing" and "branding"
And its making millions as well...with MTV culture and teens eating what they are being fed about "truths", I would say churches will still make their millions and other religions will continue to be overlooked coz churches have more money to do "advertisments". Unless Bill Gates becomes a Scientologist. But that's a different story for a different day :)

And heck, most people in this planet are dumb anyway..so leave them be...its not worth your time and effort to argue with them

I disagree, sorry, but I have learned of other religions, not necessarily enough to bash them like everyone does here, though. People are looking on the Internet more these days and I wouldn't think it was just for pineapples.

Study Daniel 9 Friend. The Messiah has already come. Daniel 9 predicts it down to a day friend.

I disagree with your statement that other religions aside from Christianity are overlooked.

I suggest you start hanging out with people who have been exposed to more diversity.

All the religion's Words are overlooked because nobody bothers to read and study them themselves - they listen to little snippets and spins and think they know, and that is the problem today with all the religions. Ignorance of the Words.

Is your religion overlooked in Israel? This is just a symptom of mass rule. It does not mean you should have any less commitment. Be proud of your faith. When you think, Catholic priests were persecuted in this country not so long ago.
