I never sleep through the night. I get up and walk around at least 2 times every night. I can't remember the last time I slept all the way throught the night. I also have big problems falling asleep. I just lay there every night until I can't take it anymore. Is this considered Insomnia?

As I see it, your manifestations are conclusive of Insomnia. You need to consult your family doctor to give you some medications to improve your sleep pattern.

Insomnia, is one of the manifestations of depression..anxiety..It`s better to treat it sooner my dear.

Here are some tips to improve your sleep:

1. Do not drink coffee before bedtime or the whole day rather drink a warm glass of milk to get enough TRYTOPHAN.
2. Exercise with the sunshine not before bedtime.
3. Eat foods rich in Serotonin to help you sleep
4. Take a rest after your work through listening to music

With Insomnia you dont sleep at all!But i used to have the same problem as you..apparently its just a phase you go through sometimes in life, but if it persists, see your local physician and get some sleeping tablets perscribed!Remember that sleep is vital for you to have a smooth day and it sucks when your mind wont shut up and you cant go to sleep!

yes. make an appt. to see your physician. possibly give u something to help u sleep, i heard good things abt. Rozerem (non addictive) and if that doesn't work, there are other meds you can try. also, u might want to try yoga, i used to have same problem but once i started doing yoga and tai chi...no more problems.
