One of the sweetest sounds in the world is the sound of a girl (or lady, or woman) laughing - especially if the laughter is caused by pleasure.
If you enjoy the tickling attention (as many girls do) then you are treating them to a very pleasurable sound.
If you do not enjoy the tickling and you want it to stop, you need to make it clear to them that you do not like it and you want them to respect you and your feelings by not tickling you. If they continue to tickle you, call them out on their lack of respect or break off the friendship.

They clearly respect your mind and conversational skills. As well as having a deep interest in your views on anything from home decor to that woman you don't like that lives down the street (you know the one I mean).

that is just a guy's way of saying he want's to be more than friends with out having to lay his heart on the line. if you tickle back or lean in closer it means you feel the same. if you lean away or say don't tickle me it means just friends.
