If you reaheat them in the microwave, then place the fries between two paper towel sheets. It helps them to be not too dried out or alternatively too soggy.

Ew, not the microwave! It ruins the flavor and makes it all the more soggy when you put it between damp paper towels.

Putting them inside a conventional oven is a waste of gas.

The best way is to pop the french fries in a TOASTER OVEN. It's smaller, retains the flavor and provides real heat! The best!

In a conventional oven. This also works better for leftover pizza, fried chicken, and just about anything. Sure, it takes longer, but it will taste better and not be soggy.

Preheat the oil for few minutes, then put the french fires for few seconds and itt is ready to eat.
Alternatively, microwave it for few minutes ( though it leaves it a bit damp)

Anything that's fried....Use the broiler! It makes them hot and crispy again, just like they were just cooked originally.
