you have it cut into different lenghts, layers,it gives a better shape to the hair and you can flick it and style it nicer,it also can be shapped around the face to make your features stand out more, layers should blend in almost invisible if it has been cut by a decent hairdresser,

It's fun to you have your hair layered, you can do a lot with it...depending on the type of layered cut you get, but if keep in mind that when you do have your hair layered you will have to wait a while for it to grow back all one length again...

u have ur hair cut in layers so that it's not all the same length.
there's lots of different ways of layering your hair so how it looks depends on how or where u layer it

It means that you have different lengths. instead of cutting directly across they pull your hair outwards and cut straight up. Depending on the length you want your layers. There is a lot of way of cutting layers into hair.

Whitecloud explained it well. Although. She didn't tell you that it looks really bad if you have more than 3 layers. It starts looking choppy and it will become impossible to do anything with it. ALSO!!! Be sure if you get layers, to tell your stylist not to make them to short. Otherwise it may end up looking like a mullet!

your hair will be but cut in layers...not all the same length...it gives your hair body...it lays better, and gives your hair style...versus all the same length.
