I have no Idea whats going on. I am 17 and have been lucky coompared to my friends to not have acne. A pimple here and there, but nothing bad. But now I've had an outbreak on my chin. After I pop one another appears and they hurt. I don't eat chocolate and I haven't had any greasy foods. I'm actually losing weight for once so weight gain is not the problem. I don't know whats going on. I had been freaking out a little bit, could that be the problem? Also I haven't been sleeping well. Could this contribute to this outbreak? And does anyone have any home remedies for getting rid of them? I'm broke so going out for Proactiv or anything else is pretty impossible now. Thanks

Change in your hormones is the most likely culprit so you may want to see a dermatologist for something before it gets too bad. Have you used a different detergent or fabric softner, buy new sheets?? Anything that you can think of??

It could be stress and lack of sleep definately. Also - since you are 17 it, to me, would be hormones and change. Try to save up something to at least see the dr which insurance would cover if you have insurance - it not, I just use drugstore products. Use the highest salicylic acid and try calling 1-877-ELEGANCE for this 10% glycolic acid facewash that I use which is good. ProActiv - I have heard mixed things about - and you can get the whole system for about $20 also. Try to steralize all of your phone with alcohol, get more rest, destress if you are stressed and just think about any possible recent changes or products that you may have forgotten about... :o)

OK first of all you are putting your body under stress..you are losing weight which requires your body to change the way it has done things for awhile. the stress from that and any changes in your diet will change your ability to keep the pimples at bay..also chocolate and greasy food have not so much to do with it as genetics talk to your mom or dad and find out when they started having outbreaks and what they did for it. also eat right and sleep well...dont overwash your face becuse that will cause your face to dry out and lead to more pimples...you may want to try Neutrogenas acne prone soap, its gentle and cheap (about 4 dollars) good luck

you've started late. ive tried everything under the sun. you name it. i think the best thing thats worked for me is skin oil reducing tablets, and a diet (i know you said no chocolate), that doesnt consist of anything like doughnuts, cakes, biscuits, lollies. it has been proven in a test that choco didnt give you pimples. remember to clean your face with regularly. dont use soap, it opens up your pores and is overdrying, try using toners and cleansers, and an OIL FREE moisturizer. dont forget to moisturize after treatments! im sounding like a girl!!

You said you weren't sleeping well. that can cause stress, which can cause outbreaks. Try dabbing toothpaste on them and leave it there for a little while. If that doesn't work try lemon juice. Those both have worked for me. Hope it works for you.
