Why are the military women so desperate?

My ex husban was in the airforce. And on the bases I notice the women were so desperate. Is there somthing wrong with women in the military no able to find love so the become desperate and most are nasty the will do anything to get the some.. Give me you out look about this women on bases?

We're in the Army and there are alot of hard working respected women. However, women in the military are given special treatment. This allows alot of female soldiers to act in a certain way because there's no reprocussion for their actions. They can easily scream sexual harassment and the male is punished, but it doesn't work the other way around. I think until the military is 100% EQUAL, women shouldn't be in. In my hubby's MOS, women are allowed, but they don't have to carry the load. The men are called over to do it. Women don't meet the same PT standards, they get convelescent (free) leave to have a baby while a male soldier is charged leave and they get special conditions because they have "that time of the month". I'm a female, I know what it's like to be a female, but it's not fair and that's why women aren't allowed in combat roles. If and when things ever become equal, you'll see women in the military viewed very differently. But, as long as they're permitted to behave a certain way, they will.

As for the military wife, there's all kinds. Many of us are very loyal to our military men no matter how long they're gone. It doesn't take long for just a "bad" couple of women to give a whole unit a bad name. Divorces run rampid in the military because they just can't adjust to the lifestyle and seperations.

Military life is a good life and should be respected. The good military females and wives fart outnumber the bad. Don't judge all just by a few.

I'll also note, that single military men definitely are NOT the best behaved. Walk around any unit and listen to them talking about "getting a piece" for the night. I know the civilian world isn't much different.

I'm a Military wife, and I see a lot very pretty, well kept, smart successful women who serve this country. My husband works with a few women at the Command he is with and they are hard working and sweet girls!
There are desperate women everywhere. Being in the Military has nothing to do with it. However, since you have pointed out just the women in the Armed Forces and left the men out, it seems logical if these girls are doing desperate acts to get love as you claim, it's probably with Military men their doing it with, so doesn't that make the guys just as nasty?
I got to say, the hookers that hand outside of a lot of US bases, especially overseas where were stationed, aren't being kept in business from our female Military Members, it's the males that keep them working! I can't count the times I have seen a US Military MAN, or a civilian US man working for the US Government over here picking up on the little hooker, who can't be more then 16 or 17, that stands near the gate to our base. Does that mean all men are disgusting? Absolutely not! I'm willing to bet that most people, men and women, that serve this country are decent people with good morals.
My point is it's not right to just say the women in the Military sleep around and are nasty, because it's not true. It's both men and women, and again, it has nothing to do with them being in the Military! They are just immoral people and would be doing this no matter what their job was!

I have been in the military for over 20 years and I happen to know its not only the women, but some of the men as well. BUT NOT ALL! In the Marine Corp it was known as the west pac widows association, In the Army it was known as "hoggin" In the air force something else... Its not all ways women who are desperate the men on deployments were known to "act up" as well.

Okay first of all I am very insulted by your comments. I am a women in the Army and we are not desperate or nasty. I know I definetly am not. Military women dont usually go stalking after men they are usually the ones being stalked. And yes there are some that may appear nasty but you should not draw a conclusion about all military women just because there are a few you saw.

My experience with Air Force women doesn't match up with yours.

Most were smart and attractive and got as much or more attention than they wanted.

In fact, one time a Marine Corps flight crew told me they liked to stop over at Air Force bases because the Air Force has the hottest military women.

As a woman who has known some women who are married to men in the military, and live on base...yes they are strange. I never saw the ladies I know really do anything, but thier behaviors around thier husbands when I visited...talk about strange. Skittish little gals they were...and when I talk about little..they were physically (height and weight wise) and mentally. I had a feeling something was not right. I am not sure about desparate though...I just got the impression something funny was going on...that is all. I think if they were...they were hiding it, but not well enough. Mind you though, I am not generalizing here. I am certain there are those women out there who live on base with thier husbands, and they are just fine...they are just women and wives, period. I just never met one, but I know you cannot judge everyone...and I will not judge. Not my job! :)

I have met some militar girls and they are insane.
