I mean, think about it. Lets say you have been a good respectful Christian. and you have been rewarded to go to heaven. However, when you get to heaven, you find yourself lonely. Your dad, who you really loved, was sent to hell because he was an alcoholic. Your mom went to hell because she didn't keep the Sabbath holy to feed you as a child. Your sister went to hell because when she young she had premarital sex and died in a car accident before being able to repent your sins. Your 5th grade bully that used to beat you up and make you cry is in heaven because he changed him mind in his death bed. And your closest friends are in hell because they chose to be mormons instead of southern baptists.
This is a critical hypothetical. I'm not saying southern baptists are the right religion or the other stuff. What I'm trying to say is, wouldn't heaven suck if those you love are in hell? Personally, I'd rather be in hell. Being with my loved ones, even at its worse, would be my better heaven.

Are some of you really serious? You'd rather be in heaven with some lunatic named god that willingly lets your family burn in hell for eternity? What's wrong with god? You send some guy to hell for 20 years and you think he won't change his mind and become good? It sounds like the worse penal system I have ever heard of.
Like honestly, if I went to heaven and found out my mom was in hell, I'd spit in Jesus' face for it.
This is a great new one. Christian's are selfish and could really care less about their loved ones as long as they experience "happiness in heaven."

I can see what you mean. Part of Heaven`s appeal for me is to see people again who have died But where does it say in the Bible you get to see your friends and family in Hell? I imagine it as an awfully lonely place where there is plenty of time to think and regret. Besides I think God is more merciful than we know.

no hell would not be better even with your loved ones. It is eternal torment and if you have loved ones there now they would tell u don't come to this place. Man cannot imagine how wonderful Heaven will be. We won't be sad or crying or lonely. Hell is a place where the worm does not die. Can you imagine worms crawling on u forever?

Isa 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
By the way. Non-Christians will not like Heaven. If your not trying to get to know Jesus now, you won't get the seal of God.

I don't really care who is or isn't in heaven I just look forward to finally being at peace.
Hell is constant suffering no matter who is with you, alot like life.
As you leave your body — you realize something is happening. You hear a sound. . . getting louder and louder. . . screaming . . .weeping. . . wailing. Terror and fear beyond anything you could imagine overtakes you. "This can’t be happening!" you scream. Your nostrils are filling with the awful stench of burning souls. Your face ignites from the heat. Flames are now blazing from your eyes, nostrils, ears, mouth — every opening in your body, flames are roaring out. Your body is sizzling and crackling from the flames.
Your body is now madly thrashing and convulsing from the horrible pain. "Why don’t I die?", you scream. You begin weeping and gnashing your teeth with the millions. "When will this pain stop?" But you know it will never stop. . .You begin cursing the day you were born.

That scenario that you painted is not what GOD has in mind for us. We will all be given a chance to go to Heaven even after we die. Only a small percentage of people will be thrown into the Lake Of Fire where they wll burn away and be no more.

Well being Hindu we still beleive in Jesus (so plese don't get pissed of lol) but we beleive in ways to please god by
giving mercy and preaching and building holy places so
that our ancestors get liberated. Yes it is lonely but thats in
the christian point of view. Sice Hindus beleive in reincarnation we must have known thousands of people and according to Karma we get better births. And the better things you do for god the closer to heaven so the best thing to do as I can see you are christian so in your case you must make everyone good. If the whole world is peacefull then the whole world goes to heaven.

only those will enter in "Heaven" who deserves to enter, as judged by GOD. in Heaven, no one will feel the pain of missing any other, as each will live in the luxury made for him there, and nothing else will matter to him. in hell, no one will care if ur loved one is right beside u, 'coz he will indulge in his own pain so much, that nothing else will matter to him.
A poor, terminally sick and very old disbeliever came to a rich, healthy, young, wise and Believer (Muslim) man and asked "How come GOD is fair, if u with all ur blessings (of world) will go to Heaven. whereas me, with all my cursed life (of world) will go to hell?!!" The wise man replied "if u would have seen hell, then this (worldly) life would be like a Paradise for u. But, for what i m Promised in Heaven, this (worldly) life is like a horrible jail cell for me." So, plz think before u say sthg, 'coz sometime they come true.
I would like to invite u to Islam. The Religion of Peace, Love, Harmony & Humanity. Don't judge it by actions of Muslims, Judge Islam by what it teaches. i say that dont even go by what i say or by what anyone else say. Do research ur self and Seek The Truth urself 'coz u owe it to urself to know The Truth, and ignorance is one the biggest crime a person can commit against himself. i would recommend that u read The Holy Quran, if u can then take a look at Sahih Hadiths (Prophet's Sayings), and also research through Authentic Reliable Books & Sites (dont count on sites that defame Islam, 'coz they just propagate mis-information and mis-conceptions abt Islam, they cant even back up their comments with significant proofs, so mostly they are rambling falsehood). In the end, i want u to be the judge, as it is ur decision to take. Dont go by anyone's hearsay (even mine) and DO research urself. May ALLAH (GOD) guide u on The Path to Seek The Truth. I know what you are saying. I heard a song that said and repeat "in heaven there is no beer thats why we drink it here." The say this to music in like a slerd chant. It must be right. But the Flying spagheti monster said that there are beer volcanos in heaven. I do not know who to believe. I'm going to die alone.
