Depends who it is and what sort of love you are talkingabout. if unrequited romantic love then yes it probably is a mistake cos will only cause you pain. If it is loving someone because they need love but don't love or don't know how to love in return then no it is not a mistake as love given in this way is never wasted. Might be a family member or a needy friend and not the all consuming love of the heart simply a beign there for them and a show of concern and caring which to me can only be a positive force.

Is not exactly a mistake cause in the love game there's no right or wrong just decisions that will lead you to different places in life. Too many times i have loved people that sometimes don't see eye-to-eye with me on that love which sometimes is very hurting. We're only humans and not God, we can't love people unconditionally. We love with an expectation of something back in return. Mistake? no. Hurting? sometimes. Regret? most of the times. so dude... think first before you plunge urself into loving someone

No - it's not a mistake because when you love someone and don't receive love back, it teaches you that sometimes you give and don't receive. It's how you deal with that emotional information that is the key. It is better to have loved and lost than never loved at all! We've all had crushes/love for someone that'll never work - you get over it and learn what/why about yourself.

I would say yes but at the same time no... if you want to share your love with them then do it... But be careful in the long run beca\use the more your share, the more you will hurt... But you never know, one day they might feel the same or you could meet someone who you want to give your love to... Just don't let this one person stop you from loving another if someone else came into your life... Or they could be asking the very same question your asked, about yourself...

It's not a mistake but you do want love returned, "The saying goes it best to love and not at all" yeah this all fine and dandy but to be in love and give love you do need a willing partner, so loving somebody without loving you is a waste of time.

Its not a mistake and often you dont have a choice.
However one sided love will always be painful one way or another so you need to understand the risks to your heart and soul and if possible do what you can to avoid them.
Sometimes this love is irrational and it will fade over time .. other times its the real thing and you just have to hang on for the rollercoaster ride!

its never a mistake,but then you got to understand whoever u will meet out there they tend to love u too but u dont have the same feeling as them. u might not know it probably because they dont want to tell you about it. when u love a person is only because 'u' love the person never asume that they will love u back, this only happens in movies. being able to let go someone u love so that they will be happier is called love too.

Not a mistake, happens to the best of us, kinda something we all have to go through! we love the people who dont love us, n have someone who loves us n wouldnt care less. Probabl why they say love is blind but when we open our eyes n finally see the reality, make sure we dont do the same thing again!

You can't choose who you fall in love with but you choose not to mope about it when you already know the feeling isn't mutual.
Don't sit around hoping it will change, move on. It is possible to fall in love with more than one person and feelings do change so put yourself in social situations where you will get meet others and have a chance of meeting someone else.
