Your question is a little unclear. You say that the Check Engine light keeps coming on. Does this mean that you are having it reset and then it comes on shortly afterwards, or does the light go on and off by itself?
If it's the latter it's likely a simple fault that the ECU is able to correct itself or else it's something really dumb like a loose gas cap, YES on some cars this will trigger a Check Engine light!
Best thing for you to do is to go somewhere and have the ECU codes read so you know where to start looking. Just guessing at what's wrong could cost you hundreds and you'll still have the light on. Remember, most electrical parts are NOT returnable so shop wisely.
Good luck

Gotta go with Smooth C on this one. Take the vehicle to an Autozone or parts dealer thay have a device they will for no charge attacha nd read the codes stored in the computer. This wil give you a direction to go and get it repaired. If it is off and then comes on each time you drive a while it could be as simple as the air cleaner is dirty.

You will need to take that Exploder to a shop and let them check it with a diagnostic machine, or you could just keep driving it. Run it till it quits, leave it on side of the road and forget about it.
