The Scriptures do *NOT* allow a Christian man to disown any minor child he fathers, even outside his marriage. The Scriptures instruct a father to provide materially and spiritually for his child. Thus, the father would make efforts to instruct even an illegitimate child regarding true worship, likely addressing his own hypocrisy when the child reaches an appropriate age. The child's acceptance or rejection of such instruction do not absolve a parent of his practical responsibilities.

(1 Timothy 5:8) Certainly if anyone does not provide for those who are his own... he has disowned the faith and is worse than a person without faith.

(Isaiah 58:7) Is it not the dividing of your bread out to the hungry one, and ...you should not hide yourself from your own flesh?

(Ephesians 6:4) Fathers, do not be irritating your children, but go on bringing them up in the discipline and mental-regulating of Jehovah

Of course, Jehovah's Witnesses do not tolerate extra-marital sex of any kind. By definition, a so-called Jehovah's Witness who engages in adultery is ignoring bible counsel and Witness teachings. He should be working personally with his congregation elders to overcome his sinful nature and demonstrate works befitting repentance. It may be useful for the non-Witness unwed mother to attend some public meetings at the Kingdom Hall and discuss the matter with local Jehovah's Witness elders.

Incidentally, a repentant former adulterer may recognize his weakness for the charms of his illegitimate child's mother. It would be understandable and appropriate for him to limit his private time with the new mother, especially if he is remaining in his original marriage.

Your problem is simple:you now have a baby on your hands and whatever you try to do with him is your sole responsibility since the father has opted out of the relationship.Do what YOU think is best for the baby and forget the rest.PLEASE do not jump into another relationship as you recently did.I never expected anybody to be so foolish.Sorry.

I'm no expert on Jehovah's Witnesses, but by law, you have the right to demand child support from him, and by LAW, your child cannot be forced into any religion. Please contact your local Domestic Relations office.

1. In the US, the state will force him to pay child support.
2. If you have "managing conservatorship" or custody you determine where the child lives, goes to church...
