Well i put my niece out to the bus every day when she is in school and pick her up.. last year was her first year... and i always bout her beautiful clothing and sent her off to school so pretty.. for the first couple weeks she had notes coming home saying sorry from the teacher..lol i know better this year! my sister in law did the same stupid thing as me.. we all would dress her so nice but this year when she goes it is going to be nice but no expensive clothes.. and if she goes to school with a few stains on her clothes that's fine because they will be done for by the time she gets home from paint day!.. our preschool has something like a poncho for them to wear while painting and stuff. that does the trick for not having it everywhere but its all over the hair and the face and her shoes.. Do you get to go to school with ur child.. our preschool has volunteer days that i get to go and help out with all the kids.. i go at least once a week and there are always a couple moms there but i am the only aunt and everyone thinks that is great. i would not miss this special time for nothing.. this is going to be her second year so excited..

A kid that comes home really dirty from preschool is either:
A. Exploring the wonders of new toys, textures, animals, environments, etc.
B. Horribly unsupervised
If the answer is A, then you have a good preschool. A child in preschool is still often a tactile learner - he or she needs to touch and explore in order to understand how the world works. Mess comes with the territory. Plus it's fun! Just buy inexpensive, machine washable clothes and wipe 'em down when they get home. If the answer is B, then you might want to make a change.

This is an indicator of a quality school. It means your child was involved and had a great time!! I have worked in the preschool field for 14 years, and I would be appalled if my child came home and they were NOT messy. It would mean they just sat inside all day and didn't get to do anything fun! I always tell my preschool parents to send their child in their funkiest, play clothes, because they are GOING to get messy. We play with shaving cream, paint, playdough, sand, cornmeal... you name it. I have a two-year-old, and I wouldn't dream of sending her to school in clothes I wanted her to keep clean. Picture day is a preschool teacher's worst nightmare... having to keep a bunch of two-year-olds clean! Yikes! Talk about Mission Impossible!! Anyway, you should be happy your child is having so much fun at school, and talk to them about what they did that day. You may find your child has a particular passion about sculpting with playdough, or have a little Picasso on your hands! : )

purely you realize your toddlers and regardless of if or no longer they're waiting for college. sometimes father and mom homeschool for the early years or while education has broken down. some even have an element time education the place the youngster is going to college on specific days. What concerns is that's solid for you and your toddlers. take a glance around on the supplies on line and interior the dep. shops, see if there are different families domestically that homeschool. Socialising might properly be a controversy yet, bear in ideas that as quickly as they bypass away college very few of their acquaintances would be their age. Homeschooled teenagers might properly be extra outgoing. On a valuable notice - your toddlers could have the earnings of a classification length of two - which ability they gets lots extra artwork executed than they might in college. you will discover in the present day in the event that they have a topic. Why no longer check it out throughout the time of the vacations? Get some supplies for his or her point, be certain what your objective for the time would be (study the 1st e book interior the set optimistically/ realize shapes and colors) and supply it a bypass! in case you stumble on it too lots, you could deliver them to college while term starts. Be employer on while that's "college time" and revel on your toddlers's early years. Have an excellent time and don't complication - you could study in basic terms before them so which you're by no ability caught.

My kids always came home from Preschool looking like they just rolled out of the gutter. Kids will be kids. As long as all body parts are still in the same place as when you dropped them off, bonus. Keep smiling, all too soon they will turn into kids that will chew your head off if you don't get every little mark off their designer jeans.

Children should be free to explore with paint, playdough, sand, mud, etc. Preschool is not a fashion show, so send her in playclothes. It is nice, however, if the teacher's wipe off their faces & hands.

Yes. It doesn't bother us. Children play around after school. Sometimes, my kid will even go home with abraded skins and an occasional hematoma, all due to his hyperactivity (I see him run on the way to gate, pass by a pole, hooks a hand around it to do a full circle swing then take off again like being chased by a raid dog... Ah we sometimes miss being kids, too.).

I try to keep them clean! but preschool is messy when you explore materials. I tell my parents please skip nice clothes, there is a good chance they will get dirty. Like the girl I got one day that came off the bus wearing a beautiful dress outfit on farm field trip day. ( I did call mom! )

Oh yeah, first thing I make my son do is wash his arms. Then I take a wipe and wipe down his knees/face/arms. The wipe is always black, it's disgusting. But that's what school is all about, learning and having fun. I've learned at this age there is no "school clothes" and "play clothes," they are all play clothes!

Yes. Whenever I pick up my daughter from daycare she is a mess. Her clothes are stained her hair has playdough in it and she is literally dusted from head to toe with a grimey muddy substance. Its absaloutley discusting. I throw her in the tub as soon as we get home!
