The ultimate goal of my fav. kind of meditation is to trancend the boundaries of space (matter) and time (anti-matter), it is said that once the level of inner-peace is achieved and in the right trance you'll hear a bell or chime and from there you may travel anywhere in the universe lucidly so that you can remember. I have never done this b/c it takes many years of devoted training and I am just begining, but I am certainly looking forward to it!

We could talk about this if you like. There is an old book called "Astral Projection" by Muldoon. Also Jack London wrote a book entitled "The Star Rover" wherein a prisoner entered the Astral plane and travel led far and wide.

If you are capable of projecting, you may do it spontaneously under self hypnosis. There are several methods you can use to try it.

Make yourself very comfortable when you go to bed at night. Relax you whole body, by starting with your feet and working your way up a section at a time and then take three deep breaths.

Then close your eyes and look down your nose and visualize your breath coming out of your nose as Steam.

Keep watching it and relax until you fall asleep. This is called "Transfixion"

If you are lucky, you will project and find yourself outside of your body. You will think that you are dreaming and if you make it outside, the lights will appear as having halo's around them like when you put glass decoration on a Christmas tree.

You may feel a sensation of great speed as you are returning to your body. It will be very scary at first, but later you will become accustomed to the new state.

Also you will be taking thought forms with you, but it will be related to the projection.

Good Luck: You have nothing to lose by trying and there is no danger involved in any way.

Out-of-body experiences are states of concsiousness. There is few "disturbances":
1."Deja vu" (from French "alredy view")
2."Deja vecu" (from French "alredy lived")
It is short-time duration "disturbance" in the groupe of "depersonalisations".
