I also have oily hair. You need to find a good shampoo and conditioner for oily hair that works! It took me 6 months to find one and i wasted a lot of bottles of shampoo & conditioner but i eventually found the right shampoo and conditioner for my hair and it looks much better!! Also you should wash your every two days so that it wont get more oily and look greasy. Try to also not put your hair under pressure like blow waving your hair or using straightners etc. If this still does not help then i think you should speak to your hair dresser about this and she will be able to recommend help for your oily hair!

Do not wash everyday. The cleaner your hair is the more it can seep into your glands and harder it is to get rid of. When you do wash make sure you are washing with a cleaning shampoo and scrubbing the build up off. Take in mind that you also have to have a ph-balanced mild shampoo and lite scrubbing is recommended. Try to avoid conditioner at the roots, apply in the middle or on the ends.
Try to avoid oil in your daily food intake. And do eat more vegetables. You could visit your doctor but only after you check and consider your diet, drugs, alcohol, and your fatty food intake. Let's face it we see what McDonalds can do to your heart in a month, can you image your hair. You would be dripping everywhere.
Maybe it's time to change your shampoo. Ask your stylist what she or he would recommend. Avoid using shine products at all costs. Keep away from two-in-one shampoos and conditioners and any frizz serums.

I have this problem in the warmer months. During this time, I use Aussie's Dual Personality shampoo and conditioner.
I wash my hair everyday with warm water. I shampoo it, making sure to work the shampoo into my scalp and hair, then squeeze out the water. I put the conditioner in my hands, rub my palms together, then apply the conditioner from the nape of my neck down, then rinse it out. I towel dry it, then comb thought it with a wide-tooth comb.

With a shampoo that's made for stripping oils from hair.... maybe Neutrogena??? Ask the ppl @ Sally's Beauty Supply. It would NOT be a daily shampoo, it's the kind made to take all the build up out of your hair.
