I was just reported for answering the "Survivor" question with "sleep with one of the producers". I'll admit, it wasn't in the best of taste, but I didn't think it was offensive. We've all read the horrible and tasteless postings before. How "rude" do you think a question or answer has to be, before it is deemed inappropriate???

I don't think it's just a matter of how horrible the posting is, but how sensitive the user reading the posting is.

In this case, the reader obviously was hyper-sensitive to the suggestion of sleeping with anyone, or criticizing "Survivor" contestants.

I have seen horrible postings by users who never seem to disappear from Yahoo! Answers. Since they are still around, I guess that other users very rarely see fit to report them.

Just like there are retarded little boys and girls on here that ask questions to offend others or don't even ask anything and just make statements to annoy people there are the ones that go around and report people for nothing just to see if they can get them in trouble. I am pretty sure that there really isn't even a person who gets these reports but that they are just forwarded right to the "offender" when submited as if they were from some higher power, ya know what I mean.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me when a couple of Catholic people merely disagreed with my answer. The answer did not contain anything lewd or obscene, just truthful, straightforward and based solely upon Biblical principles. Last time I checked this WAS America with a First Amendment? (That was about 7 years ago, however...)

Gurl i was just reported to for the same question!!! I said 'I would want to have my wicked way with Jeff Probst, I might not win but i would be satisfied!' There are people up here right now giving out their phone numbers and saying really tasteless things; yet we get reported!!!!!!

I think it is the language used. "sleep with one of the producers" is an appropriate response - but if you said the same thing using different words -- it could be inappropriate.

Maybe the poster was a producer from Survivor or something.

I thought it was funny! Sorry you got reported...I better watch my A#%!
I reported someone for being a racist and asking a horrible question about sending people back to Africa...but I personally think it was a deserved report!

Blessed Be!

I can't believe that. Especially not after seeing some of the waste of space answers I have seen on other questions.

Geesh! It's getting pretty weird when you can't even talk about sleeping with someone without getting reported! I mean, it's not like you were going to have sexual intercourse with the guy or anything.
