i hav pectus excavatum.am i disability persen?.bcoz i feel so.i cant live like others.i always try to keep away from my friends for hide my body.i lost every thing.is this mentel disbility or physical disability

its really more cosmetic than anything depending on how deep the sternum is , if it is to deep it can affect the heart and lungs by decreasing the amount of room they need . there is a surgery that can be done , either by placing a metal plate or bar behind the sternum . my son had the surgery done and you cant even tell anything was wrong before .
