Nobody is going to heaven or hell. When you are dead, you are dead. Dust in the wind, end of story. This is not a matter of opinion. This is a matter of fact.

To all the young people here... for the sake of the future of mankind, please read some books on various religions. Study history. Study the Bible and religous texts from many different religions. Take Religious Studies and Philosophy courses in college. Read books on Atheism. Gather as much information about all religions as possible. Strive for knowledge. Look everywhere for the truth.

Im confident, in the end, if you do your research and have even the tiniest bit of reason and can apply logic, you will find that believing in gods just doesn't make any sense and that heaven and hell are silly ideas. The knowledge is out there for you. Scour the internet for answers or visit libraries at universities. Ask questions, be unafraid. Don't just believe or in a god or join the religion of your parents out of default.

Heaven and Hell are not things you should worry about. There are so many different ideas of heavens and hells in so many different religions that you'll never know which religions heaven is really the correct one. I mean, what if you choose the wrong religion, say Buddhism, and then the Christian God gets mad at you cause you picked the wrong religion and sends you to hell for it. Just think about it.

Currently there are over a billion people living today who are not religious. So, basically, at least 1/6 of the population on this planet are guaranteed a highway to hell. I'd think hell is probably pretty filled up by now. Lets not mention all the people who are in religions that don't even have a concept of heaven or hell. They are all going to hell. Lets not forget all our ancestors that were on this planet for thousands of years before any of the major religions came to be. They are surely all in hell because how could they repent or ask Jesus to be their personal saviour if Jesus wasnt even born yet?

Good luck and God Bless America!

woa! is there any room left to answer the question? lol

No I don't think they will go to hell because they believe something different than I do. I believe they will go to hell if they don't believe what the Bible teaches! That Jesus died for our sins and rose on the third day and ascended into Heaven. That The Father,The Son and The Holy Spirit are one! There is no doubt that some of God's teachings were translated to mean something different than He meant it to be,some left out and some added,I believe that is why we were instructed to have faith in God.
I stay away from the religious denominations" man's doctrine" and catholics! They may all mean well and some have a good heart but after reading the book of Revelations.........

I don't think so! I don't think God is petty and narrow-minded like that. That's actually a human failing. I don't think any human truly know God, they only try to, IMHO.

Anyway, think of it like this: there are so many different religions in the world, it would be pretty safe to say that no one believes in ALL of them or even know ALL of them. In that case, ALL people will go to hell, because they didn't believe someone else's.

I don't believe that's the case. God is bigger than that. I think, in the end, it is how you live your life and treat others that will be the deciding factor.

If you use the Bible's definition of hell and not the misunderstanding of scripture which has led ministers and others to use fear to control others, you will know that hell is the common grave of mankind. John the baptist was the greatest man who lived up until Jesus and he is in this grave. Do I think that people who do not believe as I do will burn and suffer at the hand of God forever and ever??? No way--but I do not believe that God would do that to anyone at all. God is love!!

sincerely it doesn't matter of how many religions are there around the world, for its certain that there is only one Heaven, and Hell, for wherever and whenever you die, you may just have only two choices that you may have already choosen before you're dead. but there is an alternative choice in most of the religions where there are just not much of people preferable to choose before or after their demise which i did to be one of the Knights of Darkness as sworn my loyalty to neither Heaven nor Hell but justice retribution to all creatures alike.

Wasn't the actual hell from the bible, Gahenna(sp?) the burning trash dumps outside Jerusalem? I doubt all sinners and people of "different religions" will end up there.

My dear friend, when I go to the bank to collect my wage I only count the money that is given to me by the cashier. I never look into what others are getting similarly when I am concerned more about my salvation than for others to correct themselves. Yes I do share the knowldge that I have about my believe but do not force it on others nor do I pass jugdements about who will go to heavens or hell. I guess till the time I do not receive a confirmation of my own salvation I can not judge others till then.

I am a Muslim and according to they Qu'ran all will be judged by their deeds and motivations throughout their lives. Those whose good outweighs their bad go to heaven the rest to the fire. By following the teachings of the Torah and Qu'ran and making a conscious effort to walk the right path it becomes easier to do good more often and have a true respect for your fellow humans.

That is true Islam...not bombing people. Terrorists will obviously go to Hell.
