Try to quit raising kids to be all religious. Quit indoctrinating them to believe all that bull-sh*t. There are ENOUGH real differences between people........culture and language and dress and appearance and customs..........we don't need to create differences based on some mendacious muck.

Actually Religion is wrongly interpreted in whole world and being used as weapon to gain power..innocent peoples always cheated. To resolve the problem religion based reservation or identity should be wiped out and all should be teach about national religion and humanity which is actual religion...Education of real religion only can stop communal problem..Parliament must adopt a system to regard all religion and a apex house like upper house should be provisioned taking religion wise representation to decide any bill..

Religions teach the methods to purify our soul which has been spoiled by the dirt of selfishness. There are no conflicts between "purified souls". Particularly in India the Saints of both faiths have been respected by people of both religions. There are numerous examples for the same. Need is to arise and look at the truth.

Gandhi seemed to have a pretty good thing going there. How is this problem different from the English rule? Wasn't he successful because of his civil unrest in non-violent action? Made the English look like mean ol' bast*rds. The same should be done with violent religions unless you take a (kill 'em all) approach.
Make public the bad actions of all members of violent religions. Name names, point fingers, condemn evil. But don't do violence. Eventually the shame will get to them. It is a costly approach, but pays off well in the end.

To stop create group(religion group)
"I am trying in every possible way to drop all those things, which in the past have been barriers for the revolution to continue and grow. I don't want anybody to stand between the individual and existence. No prayer, no priest -- you alone are enough to face the sunrise. You don't need somebody to interpret for you what a beautiful sunrise it is."

It seems that few here understand the problem with Hinduism. One of the central problems is that Hindus believe that they deserved to be born in the social position they're in because of past lives, and therefore have no right to rise above or below their station. The untouchables of India do not dream of becoming free from their misery, and the Brahmin do not dream of becoming free from their luxury. And the Brahmin feels he deserved his position and that the untouchable deserved his, and vice versa. Therefore, there is no hope of liberation for either--or for any of the in-between castes either.
Hinduism is deeply, inextricably aligned with politics, then. As G. K. Chesterton pointed out, "it does really conceive the social superiority as a spiritual superiority."
How to solve it? Awaken people to Christ's salvation.

Accept other people's right to believe whatever they want. If all the people of India accept that others have the freedom to choose what they believe, you'll have many less problems involving religion.

Religion is as much of a communal problem in India as Islam is globally, the percentage of merit you can apply to both equally.
In this way you can make an attempt to overcome the thinly veiled bias and bigotry that is contained in your question

just if keep the politicians(- not politics) away from it- it is as simple as that
if all the communities are together no body can shake us
different people have different "idols" - not Gods, I mean idols of worship- the leaders, if our so called illetrates and the literary corrupt illetartes just think then they can definitely change the society.
but unfortunately everybody is after aquring abundance of wealth for nothing and in that process everybody is lost.
we know Histories- just give me one ,just one example of a person who has carried wealth and assets along with him..... just one example, including the religious leaders, the God's messengers and also the God's who have come on earth.the kings, the rulers- ok our own relatives and know people- but still this is a mystry no one wants to think of.
even the so called good who do good also do good just to gain fame, just to wash off their sins what they have done in aquring the wealth.(they think so their sins will be washed by just donating2 to 10 percent of thier what so called Bl money.
just a second it takes to think for all of us , just a second
what we are, why we are, what we are doing, why we are doing
if a person just lends his mind- so called disturbed mind- then the very moment he will change- he has to change
unfortunately that very second is not taken out by us from the so called busy world of filth brain.
if this is done osama will change , bush will change, and fortunately our politicians police and court people will change,
and ours will be the happy world to live in.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND AND BE HAPPY

The easy predicatable answer is shoot all fanatical religious leaders of all denominations! And then go after those idiots who pass for politicians and have nothing better to do than stir communal trouble. India should take time out and make sincere effort to try and understand other religions and why we act in different ways. As Indians our future lies in India and we should all of us together make it a safe place to live in.
