I'm not kidding. My household consumes about a kilo of the little goobers a week and we generate a LOT of shells.

We used to make necklaces out of the pits in melons when I was a little girl. (we never wore them though)

Or art... it would be a bit too optimistic to call what we did art.

grind them up and compost them. Put them in the garden to deter slugs (after you grind them up), add them to your favorite face wash as a scrub.
Composting is probably your best bet.

I doubt anyone would purchase them for any commerical use as:
1. you are not creating enough to make it financially feasible
2. they would have to be decontaminated unless they are added to something that is not used on the human body.

They could be ground up to put in face cleansers, like apricot pits.

could maybe construct a ski hill. better make a small one in the backyard to make sure it works!
