If you can run the PDF through an OCR, then you'd get all the words (or at least most of them - OCR's aren't perfect), but the formating would be messed up. Also, printscreening the PDF for photos (if there are any on the PDF) and then cropping, cutting, and pasting is the only way to get them into a word file. It's a mess and a lot of work.

Hi,

You have to have a software to convert the pdf file to a word file. There are plenty of software available online. The one I used was able2doc. It helps convert huge pdf files into word documents in a matter of seconds. If I am not wrong they also have a trial offer.

Hope this helps:)

If you don't have Acrobat Professional 7 then you cannot do it without some other special software like from download.com. You know you can go to Kinkos and get them to convert a pdf to word. I work there and I do it often, however, your file will not stay formatted (meaning you will have to arrange everything back to the way it was). I usually charge nothing for the service, but I believe it is 5.00 to convert a file.

in the pdf file, lets say the name of the pdf file is xyz, click on save as of xyz file and then see the place where you type the name of the document. by default it is xyz. however it is xyz.pdf. rename it there as xyz.doc .
this is if you have an old adobe reader. if you have the latest, then there is an option in the file menu of your xyz file, where it says "save as text"
here it directly becomes a notepad file. you can then copy paste the contents of xyz into a word file and continue with your work.
