Okay, here's the scenario. My mother got an injunction placed against a guy that I like because she felt like he was stalking me when that wasn't the case at all. However, because I am a minor, I have absolutely no say in what happened, and the outcome was that an injuncion was placed, and he's not allowed to be near me. If I come near him, he has to leave.

Now, I'm living on my own, but I'm still 17, and my birthday isn't until the end of March. I want to get rid of the injunction. My mother no longer has custody of me.

Can I get rid of the injunction? WIthout going to court? HOW?!

the court order stays in effect until its expiration date. the order that keeps him away is a civil matter, but if he violates that order, it is a criminal offense, this means that he can be arrested and put in jail for not obeying that order.

it is possible to get "no contact" orders dropped, but not as a minor. so you must wait until your 18th birthday and then contact the city attorney's office to see about dropping the order.

this is not legal advice, just what i know from my job.
