...Many people around the world do not believe that Christians are what we should be. Duh?
I don't either ... to some in the world we are hogging the wealth ...
we don't always realize it, and we don't do it consciously, it it is circumstantial. but God has given us more in America and we have to give all humans help to live ... and survive ... it's called compassion. We have it aready, but more is always OK. Christ was compassion. There's a loaf of bread for everyone at the sermon.

And, our mighty war machine is sometimes not well guided.

A true Christian is guided by Christ's love and understanding as I'm sure you are.

Peace,

I am a christians and some more than others arent being what Christ wanted us to be. Its hard to live that life but as philipians 4:13 says " I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me". As difficult as it is, its not impossible. Its sobering if you can honestly and without pride tell a christian that their a bad example to follow. We all have our struggles and of course we sin but there are some who wont make up their mind of which side to be on. I know christians who are trying and have come along way to beat addictions and such. I am one of them. I dont watch it anymore but i desire it everyday. Christianity isnt a free ticket out of trouble or stuggles so you have to understand our human desires and weaknesses before you assume that christianity is full of people who can stop sinning and are no different than any other person. You dont have to believe, thats between you and God, but you cant rightfully judge us all because we sin. There are those that "recieved Christ" they say, but nothing has changed in their life and you cant tell the difference at all if theyre saved or not.

His Greatest Hits. These or Best Ofs are always favorites. They are compilations of the best songs and/or biggest hits.

I don't have any CDs but I used to have his Greatest Hits on record. Favorite songs were Hurdy Gurdy Man, Wear Your Love Like Heaven, & Catch The Wind.
Mellow Yellow and Sunshine Superman were OK but too overplayed.

the one i listen to most is troubadour. it would be hard for me to decide my favorite between mellow yellow, barabajagal, and what's bin did and what's bin hid.

Yes i do. There's a reason for that though. We are born into sin. We do not have the perfection to be what God wants us to be. He still excepts us though. We can only strive to be more like jesus. We are bound to fall but it's the fact that many get back up and keep going. I have respect for that. As a believer i'm far from what i would like to be, but i try to be better than i am now.

How do you know what we claim to be? And can that really be used broadly as I am sure there are some who claim to be Christian and lie about it, but how do you know what I claim I am in the first place to think I am not what I claim to be?

I think since "Christians" is such a broad term and covers literally millions of people, yes, maybe not all are who they claim to be. But the majority are trying to be what they claim to be, and that's what really matters.

I don't care for it when Christians claim to be better than you because you aren't Christian. I am not saying they all do that by any means. I am just saying that all you people who tell others that Jesus will save them and Jesus is the only way and you'll go to hell without Jesus. It just makes me think maybe you're doing something pretty sinful in your life, therefore you have to shove your beliefs down other people's throats. That must make you feel like you'll be saved or something.

What do they 'claim' to be? I'm a Christian, I have never once said I'm perfect or even close to it, I try to be honest, considerate, helpful, sincere. I'm not sure if that makes me a bad person though, does it?
