pokemon is based on storie that satoshi tajiri tell (he kinda just dreamt them up) he collected different bugs and always wanted to be friends and make them battle (like sport not some sort of a mockery sports like karate and foot ball Tey don't hit each other because they hate each other ) well anyway then he decided to make up all these stories about a world were animals (pokemon) could have a closer relaision ship to humans and could live a life together that just ended made as a video gam then tv show

Pokemon??? There is a bigger problem as to if they make fun of the Christian church (even though I am a christian.) YOU STILL PAY THAT MUCH ATTENTION TO POKEMON? THEY ARE LIKE 10 YEARS OLD. I STILL HAVE CARDS FROM BACK IN THE DAY WHEN THEY WERE POPULAR.

It is a fantasy game and it is great fun. I am a middle aged woman and I love having tournament battles with my nephew. We are both devout Christians. Folklore and fairy tales are fantasy things...they are stories. Of course they do not mock Christianity or any religion for that matter.

first of all, we dont know where pokemon get their powers. they may indeed be built into the dna, just as God has placed our genetic strengths and weaknesses into our dna.
and who says man does not evolve. perhaps the evolution that everybody grabs onto is merely the evolving of the human brain to be able to conceptualize and create?
