Whew - where to begin!?

Plain tea: I like Salada best, then Red Rose. I don't care for Lipton or Tetley very much. A little milk, no sugar.

Flavored: Bigelow Earl Grey is my usual drink, although sometimes I have Constant Comment instead. There's also a peach/apricot tea that I buy at Big Lots in a 50-bag tin that's excellent. I like Celestial Seasonings' chai, too. Oh, and any combination of jasmine and green tea.

Herbal: I like Bigelow's "I Love Lemon" and Celestial Seasonings' Lemon Zinger. Red Zinger and Country Peach, too. At bedtime Lipton's Quietly Chamomile.

If I had to choose just one, it would probably be the Earl Grey, but happily I can have a whole drawerful to choose from, depending on my mood.

All of it (except maybe green) needs to be made with water that is actually boiling, not just hot. And remove the bag after 4-5 minutes so it doesn't get bitter. Tea made with tepid water is nasty-tasting, so I never order it in restaurants in the US - they bring warm water and the bag on the side, and it's dreadful.

I have been drinking tea since I was two years old. My older sister would put it in my milk. It started back then as just a splash of tea to a big glass of milk. As I got older, it was more hot tea and less milk. I like all teas, hot or cold. I love to play with loose leaf, but bags are quick and easy.
