Hi Lisa...why are you asking these questions about kittens vs. puppies, declawing or not to declaw when you answered this question weeks ago yourself. You mentioned you already have two tabby cats (Buddy & Toby) and supposedly a dog--West Highland Terrier?
Your answer about declawing a 3 year old cat weeks ago:
A cat can really be declawed at any age I guess...most people believe it is cruel, which I believe it is too...but if it has to be done like if another pet is in danger of being hurt by the cat then i would recommend it..if you can do without it then i wouldn't do it...might i suggest soft paws

I would definitely say that a PUPPY is more expensive, in the near futrure and distant future (when it grows up to be a dog).
I have a cat. We got her when she was only 9 weeks old. We immediately bought feeding and litter box materials, a collar with a ID tag, a scratching cone and lots of toys. As she grew older and her fur smoothed out, we bought a little brush for shedding season. We've also bought her a cat bed and another scratching post. We had her vaccinated and neutered, but not declawed. She is now 2 and we take her to the vet once a year for a check-up and needed shots, to the pet store once a month to have her nails trimmed. (I tried doing it at home, but I didn't start early enough, so now she squirms when I do it.) I'd say that she costs me $30 a month.
In contrast, my Mom's boyfriend has a dog. He got him when he was roughtly 1 years old, so he was still in a "puppy mentality." In addition to buying feeding materials, a collar with a ID tag and lots of toys...He also had to buy a gate, a resting crate, a leash, shampoo and a special brush; the dog was also spayed. Max is now and has to go to the vet 3-4 times a year because he has problems with his ears. (He also has special ear drops.) Also 3-4 times a year, he is taken to the pet store and is fully groomed. I'd say on average, Max costs him up to $75 a month.

I have to say a puppy cause some dogs get bigger and that means that their food disappears more quickly and they are really expensive in the pet store

Dogs. Most dogs cost about 100+ dollars. People will give you a kitten free to a good home. Ya gotta be a nice lookin fellow though im a teenager and to be honest all of them were skeptical of me getting 2 of their kittens cause they thought i might fight them or kill/sell them. Fear not they are both on my lap right now enjoying life

None extremely. youthful pups are not problem-free in shelters up the following. Older pups, certain. We followed an 8 month previous gsd. someone element out raw not being ideal for pups. this is completely fantastic for pups. extra constructive than the crap bought in shops. Many breeders commence off feeding raw precise from weaning. Inclusing raw Pomeranian feeding breeders. Like I stated, if puppy would not eat the following day, get him to a vet. His not eating would have not something to do with weight-relief plan. will be he were given into something and has an obstruction. bi-mar/Pomeraninan_Barf.aspx Edit. pups are problem-free everywhere every person has intact animals. i'm particular 1000's on your section have intact animals, puppy shops, etc. they purely are not problem-free in shelters. you could advise pups are not problem-free in shelters the position you stay.. not that pups are not problem-free the position you stay.

Have you thought about adopting either a puppy dog or a kitten? There are many shelters and associations which can provide you one of them in excellent health conditions,of all kinds. Check it out first and then, decide if you buy or if you adopt.
They need you. Give them an opportunity, please!!

Depending on breed of cat they can be exspensive but if your looking for a regular tabby cat then a puppy would be more.
