I'm planning on buying two square kicker 15s for my '03 Hyundai Tiburon GT, what would be the best box and where could i find it if i don't build one myself? i'll have the entire trunk and might remove the back half-row of seats anyway for MOMO street series seats and a rollbar. Thanx

Since you have no contact information....I had to resort to this.

The question:

Wiring Two 2ohm DVC Subs to A mono Amp.?
I know that this is possible to do, but if a amp is pushing 750watts rms @ 2ohms x 1 channel would bout subs play at 750watts or would it play it the lower rating which is 375watts per each sub(the amp im refering to is the kicker ZX7501 amp). Im trying to build a cheap system.

I replied:

In paralleled circuit, power is cut in half between two loads of the same value.

So each sub would get 375 watts.

You replied:

If you've got a mono amp, it means taht it is meant for one channel of speakers, if you put more that one sub on there, the power will evenly distibute between them(assuming that u have the power levels set the same on both subs)

Umm... how in the hell does one "set power levels on a sub"?!?!? A subs "power level" or rating cannot be changed!

"power will evenly distribute between them", I think I already stated that!! However, you forgot "only if the loads (ohms) are equal" and the subs have to be paralleled. If the subs are wired in series, both subs get full power.

FYI.

if youre taking stuff out because of weight and to be racy, adding a multiple hundred pound audio setup over the rear wheels will royally **** up your balance and handling capabilities.

and youre gonna have some probelems. i doubt youll be able to get enough physical volume and still have any room left for the air to get in and out from.

youd be much better off buying a single quality sub (unlike that **** kicker puts out, square=weak shape=flex=**** sound quality). Go get yourself a nice JL 12W7 if you want something to hit and sound good. Will require much less construction and fit better also. and make sure you get a decent amp also. I recommend JL audio and phoenix gold.

and more than anything, get a box with the correct fuckign volume. boxes with incorrect volumes might as well not even be used.

its no longer the subwoofer thats reasons dimming lighting fixtures fixtures its the amplifier that is making use of your electric powered modern-day based on the amp its inflicting a voltage drop. in the experience that your going to pay 250 for a yellow top you may desire to besides flow with a xs capacity, or a kinetic battery the biggest one you may slot on your inventory battery housing and improve your electric powered wires with the great 3 making use of a million/0 gauge wires and you gets a extra advantageous bass responds and end your headlights to dim
