I'm 31, never married, no children, smart, funny, pretty, independent and successful. Yet, I'm sick of working and want to be a housewife. I don't think I want to have kids, I just want to do whatever I want whenever I want, like take ballet classes, write books, and try to be the best wife ever. Would any modern man go for this?

P.S. I'm a borderline nympho, does that help?

Of course there are men who would agree to this. My wife could do this if that is what she chose.
If you choose not to work, then you will be relying on his income to support both of you. This will limit those who you can consider dating to people who make enough to support both of you on one income. So you have to be more selective in that regard. Of course, 'enough' is a relative term. If you are happy staying with him in a two-bedroom apartment, then the income requirement will not be that high. If you desire higher end housing and spending money (hey, ballet classes aren't free), then he has to have enough disposable income to pay for this.
I know it doesn't sound good to evaluate a guy by the size of his income, but if that income is something that you need to pay both of your living expenses, then it needs to be sufficient. If you date men with sufficient income, then you will be more likely to find one that can accomodate your desires.
Of course, there may be those who call you a 'gold digger' - but the key to getting what you want is understanding what you want, even if it is not necessarily what others might like to hear.
Best of luck

I'm 54, have had the pleasure of meeting wives who at one felt the way you do. Honestly....these wives are doing very well. Much of their success comes from the fact their husbands encourage them to set goals...as part of their growth within their meaningful relationship. But there is a down side..to much unbridaled independence can and has in many cases, caused jealousies. At 31 you should be setting and accomplishing those aforementioned, ballet classes, writting of a book. Unless your clock is ticking....well let's say marrige is not for the faint of heart
Old school with a twist

Not likely. If you wanted to stay at home and take care of kids then yes. The only other thing is you would have to be fantastic in bed. Otherwise the answer is definitely no.

I think, it is not about on what you are? Who you are?Because when the guy really do to love with all his heart, soul and life. He will surely do to change for you, and even sacrifice for your benefits. morover, you should not be that snobber, that selfish of doing things you wanted. You have to share for you to be love by somebody. And the most important, you must be a sexpert. Be good enough in that pleasures.

Are you already financially independent? By this I mean have everything paid off and free and clear. If so I think it would be ok you deserve it. Otherwise I would say hey we all want that.

it's quite this simple, if a man really likes you, he'll want you to do what you want to do as long as there are no fiancial problems involved, maybe you should start a savings account so you can live out your dream

I'm sure someone would. Now all you have to do is find a man rich enough to support you.
