Tangible evidence for or against existance of the soul?

Can anybody offer measureable, reproducible evidence that would show (or disprove) the existance of the thing called a soul?

They Physical body has been proven by science to loose a small amount of mass beyond what can been accounted for by loss of breath and intestinal fluids that come with the death of the Physical body. measured in milligrams I believe from memory of the article.
How much mass would a thing of pure energy weigh if it is the soul ?

Are the soul and the mind different? We can't prove there is a soul because there is no hard evidence supporting there being a soul. We can prove there is a mind because we have a brain and we can measure it's activities. A soul implies that it exists without the body, but has anyone ever been able to measure a soul actually leaving the body? A soul is probably an idea invented by humans to make us feel better about death. No one wants to believe there is nothing for us after death, so we come up with the notion of a soul so that we can believe we can leave our decaying bodies when we die. The whole Idea of a soul is probably just a comfort of the mind. It takes a brave person to believe in the possibility that there is no soul and no afterlife.

I have 1000's of miracles that i could allow you to realize about, yet the following is one. My mom became clinically determined with bone maximum cancers that had spread for the time of her entire body and after significant attempting out, MRI's, bloodwork, etc. she became advised that her body became absolutly riddled with maximum cancers it became terminal and they could not tell her how lengthy she had to stay. Our church all started praying intensly for God to intrude on her behalf and with in a unmarried month of the previous consequences she went back for yet another examine up, they did extra MRI attempting out to ensure the position the most cancers became at that element. The docs were surprised and advised her that the most cancers that they could locate became now placed in ordinary words in a unmarried portion of her backbone. They were baffeled!! They even compared the readings facet through facet and did not understand what to say. in addition they stated that she became now not terminal and that what they'd got here across will be dealt with. 2 years later mom is maximum cancers loose and all because of the ability of passionate praying Christians and Jesus Christ answering with a miracle. i do not study about you yet which could't be expained as math, technology, or problem-free experience!! And in case you ask my mom or every person in my kinfolk, it really is so tangible!!!! So certain, God became telling the truth even as He stated contained in the Bible that he's the same the day formerly immediately, immediately and continually!

Your question assumes that the soul is material and can be manipulated as other material things. But the soul is non material. It cannot be cut, burnt, or changed in any way. It's symptom is consciousness. Just as when the sun is in the sky on an overcast day, we can understand it's presence by the sunlight even though we cannot see it. So the presence of the soul is understood by consciousness.

You know what? I don't think you can unless you can detect a soul. I noticed that soul and sprit are used interchangably, so how does one detect it. My experences have proven it to me, but what is that to you. Since I have concluded that my spirit, soul, whatever exists, I don't have to guess.

But I have formed opinions on why some people don't believe they exist. Then again, that's only because I've gone and decided that the experiences that I have had were spiritual-- expressions of the spirit.

So just like the proof of God. I've decided to trust Him. He's proven Himself many times over since then. I have no excuse in doubting Him.

If you want these things to happen to you, you have to:
1) Want to come to Him
2) Commit yourself to Him
3) Stay in faith (trust) of Him.

You still can't measure Him, but you'll know He is there.

Some say it's a collective of your cellular mitochondria because they have a DNA of their own which is different from your own.

That's the only physical evidence I've ever heard of, but I'm not sure if I buy it.

that is the lie he told Eve in the garden. That she would not die.
This directly contradicted what God had said. Namely? that they(she and Adam) would die.

There is absolutely no reason for God to have given humans a mystical "soul" that would live on after death. God clearly stated that he created the man to live forever on the earth.
The only possibility for the humans to die? was to disobey God's commands.

There will always be those who are unable to comprehend the various levels of the mind... They can only accept what they can detect by the physical senses.. Anything beyond that seems to remain out of reach.. Having someone attempt to explain it to them would be fruitless as they lack the faith to understand. They remain stuck on the physical level.

It is impossible to disprove something. Something is considered unproven, until actual evidence can be shown, at which point it would be considered proven.
