Anything in excess can complicate your life. Try to get a grip. There are some great books available on the subject, as well as medications available. Medication with counseling would do wonders! Good Luck hon.

It doesn't have to, if the OCD patient sticks to his or her meds. But this does not alway happen. Yes, I have known of cases where their lives are drastically altered; without drug therapy many could not lead normal lives whatsoever.

It can ruin your life. Take medication and seek theraphy. Leaving it untreated is the worst thing to do.

my son has ocd and until we had professional help and medication his life and ours was quite difficult.You do need someone that you can talk to.You are probably extremely intelligent and sensitive so you have a bright future ahead of you

it make's it hard sometimes, I have to have the house totally in ordrer, meaning as soon as I get home, I check phone calls, answering machine, cell, and all e'mails, etc.
I have to have every room in the house straight before I go to bed at night, and I make lists all the time.
