You can get CB's at truck stops or Radio Shacks.

Why CB? 11 meter radio is garbage, too much DX interference and over powered idiots.

The FCC has given up on policing the 11 meter band.

Go with a GMRS or FRS. GMRS is more powerful and you need a license but no test.

There are so many places to buy from. You can go on-line...or if you want a more hands on approach...most electronic retailers sale one form or another...try RadioShack.
