''True'' love is real love, which can exist between family members, friends, co-workers etc...now if you specifically mean among lovers, I would describe it as a feeling that you feel for someone that enables you to honestly tell that person, along with the entire human population that you would die for them and feel the worst pain possible for them.... They're your ''other half'' they complete you...your strengths are their weaknesses and your weaknesses are their strengths, perfect....its a feeling you get when you look into that person's eyes...all knowledge of physical existence disappears because your focus is on whats behind their eyes which is something you can see but not physically...its feeling ''peaceful'' when you are in eachother's presense...true love makes you see your spouse as being the best looking person on earth (just because they're them, and you prefer to wake up to THEIR face every morning) although they may not be to the rest of the world. When your in ''true'' love, the fact alone, that you can't express it through words to that person, can make you cry...just the mere fact of it. So much to say not enough time or room and I talked enough sorry LOL
well there ya go...my idea of it :)

I believe that true love is the basic need for a person. That person is always in the back of your mind or the tip of your tounge. You care for that particular person more than you could ever explain. They become your best friend and they help you though not only the good times but the bad. No matter how terrible the storm is you always find a way to survive it together.

True love is when you don't have any trust issues with your partner. And its when you don't say it was love at first sight, because you didn't know absolutely anything about the person at first sight. I also think that love is not only wanting somebody for how they look. It is about accepting their mind, body and soul, even if the person is not the prettiest or the cutest. And love is definitely not LUST. Love is waiting for the right time to do something and not criticizing anything someone says about your relationship. That is what U think love is. What do you think? Everyone has their own opinion.

Rare, genuine soul connection
Strong attraction yes yet essentially the kind of love that underlies romantic love, real partnership and a best friend.
Freedom to be who are with space to grow in with
Intimacy to share all of who you are without holding back and acceptance to embrace the entire being of your beloved
Supporting what is best for yourself and the other, for their full expression in life
oh lord I almost sound like a new age self help book, only I really mean it!

True love is a puzzle each person in the couple brings pieces of the puzzle into the relationship with them.. When you find your true love they will bring all the pieces that complete your puzzle and you will bring all the pieces that complete thier puzzle. When pieces are constructed the two pictures of life created they will compliment each other, intertwine and create a whole which is greater than the sum of it's pieces..

true love isn't so much a feeling as it is a state of mind.
When I was much younger I thought true love was romance, candles, kissing and all that jazz. After enduring and ending an awful marriage, my idea of true love is night and day different than it was 20 years ago.
Now to me true love is honesty, loyalty, integrity of thought and action, stability and the feeling of security and peace. Don't get me wrong..romance is highly important. But it is not the ONLY thing that encompasses 'true love'. it is just that...true.

My idea of true love is when you feel comfortable and at home with them. When you don't need to talk for the other person to understand. When you two can just chill together (laying in bed, on the couch, etc) and there's no talking and feel that you're in touch. I have that kind of relationship with my boyfriend, and sometimes it scares me. Example: when i think of him, the phone rings and it's him. But it just feels right.

My idea of true love is when you or your lover will do anything for one another. Always being there for each other, no matter what the situation is. Continuing to touch and kiss each other after many, many yrs. Being friends as well as lovers. Willing to die for the other.

True love is having with another person: understanding, communication, and laughter. It is someone who you can love who will love you for you. It is a relationship without judgment, but only of support, encouragement and friendship.

My husband takes time from 112 employees every morning to email me & invite me to lunch & say he loves me. He hides a note saying he loves me around the house every morning before he leaves - in refrigerator, on mirror in bathroom, in makeup drawer. I never know where I will find it. After 33 yrs of marriage - that is love.
