The great psychologist Froid says that any thing you want to avoid some one to access, he/she would be curious to that.

In Islam sex is a taboo, every thing belonging sex, is a taboo in Islamic countries.
Now I want to show a very interesting point, go here (www.google.com/trends) and type (sex) then enter.
You can see most Islamic country Egypt is the number one country for searching sex sites, after that Pakistan, Iran, and so on…(click on Regions)
Another interesting point is that sex sites prohibited for access in these countries.
This is a big shame.

Yeah, good ol' Sigmund Freud. Islam is just behind the times. Why, back in medieval times in Europe, people coupled with a sheet in between them. Luckily the sheet had a hole in it. People used to bathe (once a year whether they needed it or not) with their clothes on because it was considered "sinful" to be naked. So, give Islam a little time. They already "cherry pick" the parts of the Q'ran they like, and ignore (or obfuscate) the parts that they don't, just not as liberally as your garden variety Bible believer. In a 100 years, they'll probably open a strip club in Baghdad. At least, one can hope.

Thats a very ignorant thing to say, sex in Islam is prohibited. In every religion sex isnt allowed before marriage, and thats what it is in Islam.

i can find no reference to sex being taboo, in islam. in fact, the quran will have the directive from God to be fruitful and multiply, in some fashion or another.

it is an unfortunate thing that many of the islamic faith practice what is referred to as "female castration" wherein the clitoris is cut from the woman as a young adult.

the train of thought is that if she does not enjoy sex, then she will have no reason to fornicate with men, other than her husband.

a barbaric but very real mutilation of the female genitalia.

sorry, but who told u sex is prohibited in islam.? sex can be had only with ur wife. not with anyone else. but as in any culture and religion, there are always perverts. only sex with ur married partner is allowed not only in islam but in all religions..

if u read the reader's digest aug/sep 2005 issue, u will have articles stating that many westerners marry or adopt children and take them with them only to make a prostitute out of them. this is esp wide in middle east and thailand, where men from ur very own dear country promise young girls to show liberation and freedom and end them as prostitutes.

it is the result of the influence from all other countries and their sexual cultures. it was not islam that released kamasutra for everyone to know. it was ur country that started practising all this and naturally people follow the trend.

pre/extramarital sex is forbidden and sin in christianity, but dont people do it.?
pre/extramarital sex is forbidden and sin in hinduism, yet there are people who do it.
pre/extramarital sex is forbidden and sin in buddhism, but even there people do it (gieshas till date)
pre/extramarital sex is forbidden and sin in every religion, but today almost all of them are corrupted.

so why is it a shame for only muslims?

shame? shame on YOU for getting your facts all wrong~ get this:

yes, in Islam, PRE-marital sex is prohibited. in fact, all those things that can lead to it are prohibited. this includes kissing, caressing, watching porno, etc. etc.)

BUT, after marriage, sex is higly encouraged and the husband and wife are even REWARDed for performing it. in the hope of having kids who would carry on and continue upholding Islam in the next generation, and not simply out of lustly desire.

if u would just open your eyes, u would see that Muslims are usually the ones with lotsa children. including the religious scholars, imaams, etc.

wonder where u get the "sex is prohibited in Islam" from... heh.

Apparently Islamists don't need the stimulation for sex. They have mushroomed the population of the planet. Until they make up 25% ot the worlds population. Oddly, it is prophecied they would control 25% of the lands on earth. Of course that isn't the end of the prophecy.

Sex isn't prohibited in Islam. It has stringent rules associated with it, just like Christianity does.

A better question is why South Korea wants to "fsck" so badly.
