Eukanuba Pro Plan Cat Food

it depends what country you live in

In Canada- NUTRAM is clearly the BEST- it exports to Europe so passes tougher standards than ALL OTHER North American foods

Acana is my second choice (also Canadian made)

IAMS, and Eukanuba are both crap - they were better until Proctor & Gamble bought them out and dumbed down the ingredients.. plus it hurts to be associated with animal cruelty (www.iamscruelty.com)

Hills Science Diet = crap.. paying for vet endorsement is just wrong.. and the ingredients are not good either

you should have NO by-products (beaks feet feathers) -preserved with chemical pesticide Ethoxyqin

no BHT BHA.. both dangerous chemicals used for perservatives in cheaper foods

you do want HUMAN GRADE MEAT ONLY

alot of foods people like are crap when you learn the facts...

fact: VETS DO NOT GET much, if any training on ingredients or food brands.. they often sell the food reccomended to them by the first rep that approaches them (and pays them to reccomend it)

Well, I need more information. If your talking about food, that depends on what condition yr cat is in, and how old he/she is. Does he/she have a particular condition? Talk with yr vet. Going to the vet is very important for optium health and joy of yr pet!

The best diet for a cat or kitten is a home-made raw food diet.

I would stick with a food your vet recommends. I do like Iams, it protects against urinary track infections, hair ball controll and has all the appropriate nutrients for your cat during every stage of its life. The food may be more expensive, but they will eat less of it, and will have more compact and formed stools.
