i don't think there is an upper limit unless your psychiatrist thinks you are getting some neurological symptoms because of ECT. This is a good question for your doctor to answer

i have worked in a psychiatric hospital for a very long time now and i can definetely tell you that, the number of ect sessions you had seems a little bit of a too much. I must agree though, that ect can be very effective in certain cases and a remarkable improvement has been seen after ect, you may very well need to see another doctor though.

I worked on a Mental Health Unit, and I never seen anybody get that many. Perhaps you should get a second opinion.

It used to be not used for awhile, but it's now getting used again to treat schizophrenia, and despair. I call it the Nintendo reset method of psychiatry, and that i find it to be inhumane.

it was once no longer used for awhile, however it's now getting used once more to regard schizophrenia, and despair. I name it the Nintendo reset process of psychiatry, and I discover it to be inhumane.

10,000 a year? where'd you get that figure. ECT is definitely an extreme therapy, but works well in certain cases. have you asked your dr. what the average is?

there is no answer because we are all different and there is a tendency to generalize answers about the brain with millions of cells some how even to blink your eyes.

It kills of brain cells and can cause brain damage. Many people die per year from it. Something like 10,000 per year. How did they diagnose you with bipolar disorder when there are no biological tests for it?
