Not that I have much experience in the reason behind it, but I love the classic WEDDING CAKE. Especially if it has coconut on it.
Doncha just hate it when the bride stuffs perfectly good cake in the grooms face. Of course he must rereciprocate.
Why is the world wasting so much great cake! There otta be a law.

Chiffon Cake
I dont have the recipe on me, but you separate the egg whites from the yolks, whip the whites till peaks form, beat the yolks with other stuff, fold it all together and bake in an angel food pan. When done you poke holes all in the top and make an orange juice powdered sugar glaze and pour all over it so it goes in the holes and yummy....very moist and citrusy.
