I'm 27, date pretty often but continue to meet guys who end up feeling confused, or too busy for something more serious. They start out way too eager about US but shift about 2 months later. I know guys who aren't freaked by commitment exist because I have happily coupled/married friends and family but it still seems foreign to me. What's the secret to meeting NORMAL "I know what I want" type guys?

Believe me, it is better to be single and dating, then be with someone who makes you miserable. Consider yourself lucky that these guys have shifted before things got too serious. Be confident with who you are. Make sure you are looking for what you want, and are not settling for whatever comes along. Even when you are married, that won't fix or solve anything in the quest for your life fulfillment.
It took me a long time to realize that if things had worked out with the other guys I would have never met my wonderful husband.

Your knight in shining armour will appear some day. He'll probably arrive when you least expect and aren't really looking. Keep the faith as there is someone in this world that was made for you. I met my soul mate at 48 years old and we are getting married next May 20, so it's never to late. Sorry to freak you like that I'm not suggesting that you'll have to wait that long as we both have previous relationships behind us also. At 27 you will have some baggage to take into the relationship and so will your partner also I bet. But keep an open line of communication going at all times and be honest with each other and then you will have found your NORMAL man. Best of luck to you.

Don't rush it. I will be 26 next week and am very single. I am not worried about getting married any time soon. A lot of my old classmates are married or engaged. I say good for them but I prefer to have fun with my life and learning about myself. When you are meant to be with the ONE you will be.

Perhaps, unknowingly, you keep dating the same type of guys.
Try dating guys outside of your normal boundries, you may just find what your looking for, after the fact.
