The only way to get rid of split ends is to get a hair cut and trim your hair regularly. If you can't get stop using heat on your hair, then you want to make sure that you are using the right products to help your hair be healthy. The things to look for in a good shampoo is make sure that the pH is 4.5-5.5, the molecular weight is below 2000, and that there is some type of protein in it. The best type is human hair keratin protein. Also make sure taht your conditionar has that same protein. It really helps your hair stay in good condition.

I spend free time at work just reviewing my hair and if i see little white bends or split ends..i cut them..right away. The white bends are the split ends or the breakign point of your hair..My hair is very healthy and I used to have a problem with this..because my hair was up to my waist. Cutting it is so drastic but after you trim your ends it is very easy to take care of the problem yourself.

only way to get rid of them is to cut them off, then do not use curling irons, straighteners etc... unless you buy products from the salon to help protect your hair from more damage. Keep your ends really moisturized and try to avoid swimming pools and hot tubs... the chemicals will destroy your hair. It's tough but truely it IS the only way! Sorry to dissapoint you!

ok first go to a reputable salon and have the stylist cut off all split ends. if it requires a lil bottom layering its ok...its in anyways. then after shamooping, apply a conditioner such as redken made for split ends and apply it bottom up. dont touch roots and scalp they dont need it and applying i there will cause dandruff problems later. then apply sunsilk anti-flat creme bottoms up also...it conditions hair....if u also want anti-flat hair....apply roots up as well. let it dry normally. i dont suggest flatirons but general light blow drying is ok!
good luck!

you can either trim your hair only where the split ends are or you can go to a hair dressers and ask to just get a light trim.
