Does the guy always have to ask the girl out, or is it O.K. for the girl to turn the tables and ask the guy? Some people are old fashioned, but in my opinion, I think it is extremely sexy and a nice change of pace for the girl to ask sometimes, but that's just me. I want your opinion people, what do you think????????

If I want it, I go for it, as we all should. I am a girl and have asked a guy out, I was nervous and unsure, but very glad because he had told me later that he wanted to ask me out but was afraid!!!
However, it didnt work out, we went on a few dates and decided we were better off as friends. But I Learned from this experience, he may feel the same way (or she in your case), so Girls, If you want it, go get it!!!

I think it can go either way...but if there is someone you like don't wait for their invitation or you might miss it..Some girls are very shy and depend on the old fashioned way of doing things...Either way you get to go out and have a good time so it is win/win.

I think it's fine for a girl to ask a man out, this is 2006. Woman need to go after what they want.

I have to be asked out first. It isn't a matter of a lack of initiative, or low self-esteem. It would feel foreign for me to make a first move. I am sure there are a lot girls who have no problem with it though.

In my opinion, a guy who won't make the first move is lazy. Most women want the guys to do the chasing.

I think it's ok for either sex to ask the other out on a date.. This is not 1954 this is 2006... We have come a long way baby...

I think it can go both ways you know it is 2006 even though I have only approached 2 guys before but I think its becoming more and more acceptable I think if you see something you like you should go get it regardless your sex

it's a hollywood thing for boys to ask girls out which fustrates both sexes becasue then boys fear rejection and won't try and girls get annoyed when boys are too stubborn or don't ask them out and makes people confused and not tell if the other person likes them unless they try to show affection

Not Always, but if you really like the girl and you know she likes you too then chances are shes too shy to ask you.
