I am 17 and this guy is 23 and he always acts sweet to me, but then when he is around other people he makes me feel stupid. I love him to death, but he yelled at me for telling anyone what goes on between us. The thing is, he is so amazing most of the time, what do i do, i want to get over him.

In my experience you can't get over him. I guess ti has to be something that wears away over time.

No real man treats a woman this way. He should be proud to be with you. Hopefully you two are not being intimate since in most states it's against the law (most, not all). You may feel like you "love" him but love is a 2-way street. Love encompasses so many things, such as being proud being with you. I don't believe in yelling. Yelling is for the weak. A truly strong man does not need to yell to get his point across. If you really want to get over him you should break it off, do not communicate with him anymore, take some time to yourself, and then start dating again after a few months. Also remove anything -and I do mean ** anything ** - that reminds him of you. Realize that it will take TIME to get over him. You should also keep yourself busy to keep your mind occupied so you don't think too much about him.

My 2 cents,

Rod

Get away while you can. He's toying with you. Has he talked you into sex yet? Protected or not?
Hun, walk away before you are pregnant and then you have an 18 year relationship with this jerk.
He doesn't care about you if he makes you feel stupid around his friends. He's using you to make himself feel important and smart. That means he's insecure about himself.
He also is trying to control who you talk to about your relationship. Next he may tell you who you can talk to at all, or who you can or cannot see, where you can go. He will isolate you from your friends and families. He may be an abuser - physical or psychological abuse, it's abuse.
You're 17. You have your whole life ahead of you. Make plans for your future. Do you have life goals? College? Tech school? Look out for yourself - this guy isn't going to be around forever, and you have the potential to do great things. Set your sites on better things, and don't look back.

cut him off completely. get a life outside him and develop a new hobby. delete all emails, lose his phoen nubme rand jsut don't talk to him. cut him otu of your kie. worked for me! eentually you'll quit thinking aobut him. I say this because he doesn't dound very nice if he's yelligna t you instead of talkign calmly. anyone who yells obviously has a dark side and you don't want to be involved with that. any timeyout hinka bout him, think aobut him yelling. that helps alot!.
