Is it ok for a guy (or girl) to dump a person over the internet?? Giving the excuse he is in his loner time?

No! Anyone who wants to dump someone should do it to their faces. The two main reasons is that using the internet to dump someone is not only impersonal, but also a cowardly thing to do.

no!!! That is so impersonal even for someone in seclusion. Pick up a phone buddy!!! It is cowardly to do it over the internet or text messages. It's saying that the relationship wasn't personal. What kind of relationship isn't?

Definitely not.
The other person usually deserves a little more respect than that. If breaking up intimidates you that much, do it over the phone, but the nicest way to do it would be face to face.

HECK NO!!!If you ask me,anyone that dumps their significant other over the internet, (or over the phone),is nothing but a chicken sh*t.If you want to break it off with someone,at least have enough respect for them to do it in person.If you're scared,so what!,deal with it,you think you're the only one who's had to break it off with someone??Not likely!!If you're old enough to have a special someone,then you're old enough to be big about it and do it with respect.

i dumped a guy once on his answering machine. it beats the "ignore him, and he'll go away" trick. at least you don't have to screen your calls any more.

I think you should be a man and just tell her face to face and tell her the TRUTH. That is the best way.......Would you want a guy someday to do that to your daughter if you ever have one.....
