None of my children had a negative reaction to beans while I was breastfeeding.
My babies reacted to pineapple (projectile vomiting) and milk/cheese/dairy (rashes). Everyone is different. The best way to know if your child reacts to a certain food is to eat it, and observe if there is any reaction. However, if you eat beans along with, say. tomatoes you would not be able to tell if a reaction was to the beans or the tomatoes! Just something to keep in mind.

I've breast fed all 4 of my children and the only food the bothered them consistently was broccoli or califlower. They would get so gassy, but as for beans, never had any trouble with that.

You could but it will most likely give your baby an upset stomach and gas. If you ate them while pregnant without any problems give it a chance, just know your baby might not like the taste and might get gas. Your breast milk can change flavor because of what you eat.

Of course you can. Women in countries where beans are very popular dont have more fussy babies than here. Have some and if your baby reacts badly to it you know but it should be perfectly fine!!!

I would not recommend it because everything you eat the baby drinks and will more then likely be gassy, just like you don't want to eat spicy stuff.
