I don't really have a problem with immigrants being here, if they are illegal they should try to become citizens, especially if the US govt. makes it simple for them to do so. What i have a problem with is the damn Spanish written all over everything and on everything you hear. Even when you place a call with a digital answering service you have to wait while the entire thing is repeated in Spanish........give me a break! I just don't feel comfy with having to learn Spanish if it's not a priority for someone new to this country to learn English. I realize that the US is a nation of immigrants and many different language groups, but the US has to have some kind of identity and culture to bond its people together. I never dreamed there would be so much seperatism between this country's peoples. No wonder the rest of the world laughs at us.

No problem at all. I don't see any. Transition will be a B**ch but we'll get over it.

No more SSNs stolen, No more public service abuse, no more park pissin', and the United States will be the good old clean, decent and respected country it used to be.

Why call them illegal? It's short for illegal immigrants. You can't call them immigrants because the word immigrant implies your status as legal.

Providing that they do not children here in the US, illegal immigrants are not elligible for welfare, foodstamps, etc. They get paid and spend their money in the US, but they are not using the government for assistance. I think that they are actually boosting the economy. People need to stop being so bitter and realize that we all immigrated here at some point or another, whether it be YOU or YOUR ancestors!

Like most sweeping changes, there would be a period of transition but I do not believe there would be as many problems as those promoting the illegals would lead you to believe.

Social Security would fail without them paying into the fund. there are 12 million illegals. We should make it easy for them to work here legally.

No lies. The country needs to get rid of illegals and keep legal citizens, regardless of anything else. We are losing respect left and right. It's time we put our foot down and make them come here legally.

People will say that you won't be able to find cheap work. What they forget is that kids do cheap yard work too.

Yes. We wouldn't know what to do with all the money we would have without them. The benefits would cancel the national debt.
