wow, i hadn't ever heard that either. of course growing up no one ever tells you who will say it first. I always thought it was supposed to be the man. At the begining of my relationship i almost told my boyfriend i loved him a few times but caught myself cuz i wasn't sure what he'd think. In the end i told him, I love your stupid ***, two days later he said it to me. It was great. I am so glad i did. i think if you have been with a person for a lil while and you feel like your going to be with them for longer and u really connect, then why not say it first. sometimes guys are just as nervous as girls are, so yea women can make the first move. why not?lol

Just like the man is supposed to try for the first kiss, the first date, the first sexual encounter, etc he's also supposed to say "I love you" first. Us guys do have a lot of pressure on us but lets face it, most women will NEVER say that they love you first due to fear of not hearing it back. Sure, us guys fear the same thing but it's up to us to take the bull by the horns and finally bite the bullet. I recently told my girlfriend I loved her and it was really hard for me to do. I was so sure that she loved me but there was that slight possiblity that she would not say it back that made me so nervous. But, after I did tell her I loved her and got the same thing back it was like a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders. For a few weeks I debated telling her each time we met for these very reasons.

If you're thinking about telling someone that you love them just go ahead and do it already. Nerves often ruin your judgement and force fear upon yourself. You must learn to get past that and once you finally do you'll almost always feel so relieved. Hope this advice helps!

Well. as for me, it doesnt really matter that much, if the female really loves the male, she should say it first...but I myself am familiar with the concpet that the males are suppose to say "I love you' first... but it doesnt really matter becasue who ever says it really means it [50% of the time lol]

No usually not. Usually it is the males first it depends, sometimes females think if they say the L word first they get scared off.

If two people are truly in love, who cares who says it first as long as both truly mean what they say.

If the only way a woman can get the man to say those three little words is for her to say it first, she should remain silent.

well, if the guy was the one who started getting hooked on to u, then he should say it first to let u know that he loved u in the first place and he wants u to know that
