The Cascades include Mt. Rainier at 14,440 feet, and several others just a little shorter. They run north and south through Oregon, Washington and British Columbia.
By the way, that is Washington state, which is on the other side of the country from Washington, D.C., the nation's capital.

Is it the Olympic Mountains? I remember going on a 5 day hike through parts of it. It was gorgeous. But I'm not too sure if its the longest mountain range, sorry.
