I've been getting so many different answers from people and i just wonder what you think it means.

It means don't give away your youth. So basically don't waste the time in your life while you're still pretty. It's a shallow thing to say, but it makes sense.

I'm not sure what it really means, but I say that when I get dressed up to go somewhere, with the expectation of there being someone worth impressing. When plans change, or that certain person isn't there, I feel as though I've wasted the pretty.

Don't waste the pretty is not the correct grammatical composition. The word pretty is just out of place. It should be a noun- (pretty is an adjective)
