She should see a doctor. It sounds like an allergic reaction to something.

Sounds like an allergic reaction or a bug bite. Try to get her to go to the doctor in case it's something serious. Good luck.

Sounds like an allergic reaction or an eye infection that's taking a turn... get your mom to the doctor before it gets any worse...

I've found a link for you for the future... thought it gave a bunch of good answers for you!

It could be a dozen things. SOUNDS like a allergic reaction. I had the same symptoms being around cats, and any other loose haired animal.
Tell your mom that you LOVE her, and if it takes you telling her that if she loves YOU, she will go to the doctor with you !
Good luck!

Could she maybe have pink eye? If she values her eyesight she should get into see a doctor right away! Why do people wait until they are so sick that they feel like dying before going to see a doctor?

If her eyes ooze sticky liquid when awake and crust shut when she sleeps it's pink eye. If they don't she could be having an allergic reaction to food or animals or if she has a bad tooth the abscess could be draining into her sinuses.

Defintiely see a doctor. If you can't get her to go to one (and you can afford it), try to find a doctor that does house calls.

If it's nothing - it's nothing. But eyesight is nothing trivial. Allergies could be an issue. So could stress (I once had a rash over 40% of my body, from stress - I had a coupe of shots & problem solved).

Allergic reaction.

If an allergen medication doesn't bring quick relief there is no question she should see an MD. She is at risk of looseing one of her five senses. Sight is arguably the most important.
Why risk it? She should seek medical attention NOW!!!
