Well, as a Christian the main reason I sayno is, Jesus said that , " I am the way, the truth and the light, no one gets unto the Father but by Me." You can go from there. Satan can appear to be a god to people in the past as well as his demons. Allah is a good example of that. Originally allah was a pagan demon god, not the same God of Abraham. Budda and some other religions talk of reincarnation. You really believe someone will come back as an insect, or fish? Read the Bible some time, you might like what it has to say, starting with the Book of John and then Matthew.
Take care and may God's light and wisdom open your eyes to His truth and blessings.

There is god (foundation of everything, uncondtional love) but god is not what any of the religions make god out to be. Most religions make up an image of god that matches what people want god to be like (jesus tries to get this across in the prodigal son parable by showing how the 'good' son didn't understand the real nature of god and was angry that god didn't behave the way he thought he should). No concept can describe it; a person can only directly experience 'god' (or tao or whatever). Jesus and Buddha experienced god (buddha is NOT considered a god). In true buddhism, they don't have the god concept but 'god' is there if we consider that enlightenment is the experience of 'god' (but not the god that we usually think of).

Each person, Human, has a inner spirit that is created by God. God however is beyond human conception or understanding but God is Spirit and not some physical man setting among the clouds. While many religions believe in One God many believe in many gods. Also while many religions believer in One God they are not the same God or worshiped as the same God. The Jews and Christians worship the same God (Jehovah God) and that is not the same God as Islam worships. Man's inner spirit strives and longs to know it's Creator and be one with the creator so there is an inner spiritual thirst in most all persons to seek to find God but the decision is which God is the real God. That is a matter of faith but they are not all the same God. I feel and believe that the true God will make Himself known to those that seek Him honestly and that is the way you know it is the Real God it is a decision that is made from the inside out rather than knowledge inward and acceptance of teachings. God reveals Himself from inside the person in such a way that the power of God and presence of God is proof enough for that person to know God is real and exist.

Not only is it possible, but I beleive you are 100% correct. Why would God allow all the different religions, yet punish all those who dont follow the right one? The different religions of the world are the result of our unique differences in culture; yet one common point is all religions basically bring about the same themes. As long as we care for others and do good in the world, then we are ALL following the right religion.

No, Allah is not a name that means God. Allah is the name of the moon God. That is why their idea of heaven is so different. Buddha is not a God at all . he was a man that went up to a mountain and came down changed. Buddha means the enlightened one.
Jews and Christians worship the God of Abraham , Isaac, and Jacob--Elohim. there are even more divisions of other Gods or demigods

Amy,
Study different religions more. Some are atheistic, some are monotheistic, and some are multitheistic. Buddhism and Taoism have no god. Christianity, Judaism and Islam all believe in one (the same) god.
Hindu have many gods and goddesses, as did the ancient Greeks and Egyptians.

It's POSSIBLE, but that's not what has come about in reality.
Do some research...
Buddha was a wise man, but he's dead.
Allah was originally worshipped as a Babylonian god of the moon.
Only Jesus stands up to the test of being true God and true man.
Only Jesus remains alive today.

Allah is very Different from Buddha, Buddha is not a god that I am aware of. Jesus is the Messiah come to redeem Gods people back to himself.
If they were the same at all, I may agree. But they are not even close other then they know/knew more about life then we do.
God Bless YA though.

well i did agree with u, but amongst the above mentioned names, ALLAH is The Only GOD, 'coz we know Budda was a person, and even Prophet Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) was a Prophet only, a human like u and me (but most righteous and the 'chosen one' to be a Prophet by GOD)

NO> all religions condradict themselves too much> I'm sure God doesn't want confusing and contradictory ways to reach him. Jesus Christ plainly said that he is the ONLY way to God> Excuse my narrow-mindedness, but Jesus Christ is the truth the way and the life! John 14:6
