what kind of question is that?

Actually, this is not such a dumb question as some here seem to think -- because a rooster's crowing is triggered by the presence of light. So would a blind rooster crow? I've never had a blind rooster, although I did have a one-eyed hen. My guess would be that the blind rooster would take his cue from the other chickens around him. When they wake up and start clucking, he would recognize the sound and wake up also. He crows to proclaim his territory, so once he was awake, he would sound off.

However, a blind chicken in a flock would also be picked on by the other chickens -- who might even kill him. Chickens can be pretty mean to a weak or injured bird. The term "pecking order" comes from the fact that they establish a clear hierarchy as to who out-ranks whom. I've had to isolate injured birds to keep the others from pecking them to death. So, if I had a blind rooster, he would be in a separate cage where he could hear the other chickens but not get attacked by them.

Yes, roosters are equipped with telekinetic powers that enable them to crow at the appropriate times.
