If you haven't met why in the world accept a proposal....I wouldn't have done that....if he doesn't want to talk on the phone....you need to at least meet up, but when you do, meet up in a very public place and bring someone with you. Until you really get to know this guy for real (in person) don't accept any proposal. If he is too busy for the phone, you are just a side for him, he probably has a girl living with him or even his wife. So I would be very cautious on this one. I can't express myself enough, BRING SOMEONE WITH YOU if you meet up with him. I wouldn't trust him.

That is stupid. You agreed to marry this guy...who you never met...who says he's too busy to talk on the phone, but will meet you in person...First of all, I wouldn't trust this guy as far as I could throw him!!!! He probably has a wife/girlfriend/what ever and that's why he can't talk to you on the phone. Which, brings me to my next point: you don't know the guy, so how could you marry him?!? WTF??? If you plan on meeting this guy, I wouldn't go alone. He already knows you're an idiot. He's going to take advantage of you. Take a friend or someone you trust with you. SOMEONE WITH BRAINS. I would call off this "proposal" while you're at it. Save it for someone you do know.

how can he be too busy to talk on the phone? and he just wants to meet? Perhaps, he wants to meet you better instead of just talking on the phone. But, you don't know him well, do you? It's better if you set a double date so you will not be alone. I don't know much from the things you're saying but it seems to me that you don't trust him enough to date him. It doesn't look like flirting though...

I think you should get his name and birthday if you have been talking a year then he should give it to you with no problem. Also have hime email you a picture. Then get a background done on him and see what he is about. Now if it comes back clean. then still be careful and bring someone with you like a girlfriend then have two of your male relatives waiting and watching just in case. SO that this guy doesn't try to pull anything. BECAREFULL> MEN are tricky,,,,,

He is married and doesn't want u to call on his phone. This way he can keep th extra marital affair away from his wife.
