I'm 17 and i think it's time i thought about my future.My dad wants me to join the marines,like he did, it kinda runs in the family.The only thing is i'm interested in Hystory. I'm the top student in my school at hystory. What colege do i have to take to become like one of those archeologists that go on different kinds of expeditions to dig up stuff or whatever. I don't want to become a Hystory teacher, i want to go and explore! Could you help me pls?

Go online and look up the colleges that offer archeology as a major. And then check to see which ones have regular expeditions during school breaks or internships.

Harvard is supposed to be good but very expensive.

First, when you graduate from high school, no matter what you do, you will need to be able to read and write in English. (If you are going to an English speaking school.)

Please note how these following words are spelled:

~ History
~ college
~ excavations (not expeditions)

As for advice, it's your life. YOU need to live it, and choose your own path. However, if you do join the service (Marines is ALWAYS spelled with a capital "M"...) then they can pay for part of your further education.

To become a History teacher, you must first know how to spell history.
